By Express Bus
Travel to another city is very simple in Korea as the inter-city bus system is very well organized. Tickets are purchased at Daejeon Express Bus Terminal where the bus departs for virtually all major cities in Korea. There are two kinds of tickets (for standard and deluxe buses). Deluxe bus tickets are more expensive but of course provide more comfortable ride. Reservation is available.
Daejeon Express Bus terminal is right next to Yuseong open market. The cost for a taxi ride from KAIST to the terminal is around 3,000 won.
