MS/Ph.D.
The M.S./Ph.D. program has been making great strides to remain at the forefront of management education. Students are required to develop a solid foundation in microeconomics, statistical analysis, globalization and communication strategies. These core courses provide the basic knowledge that every student must possess, and lays the groundwork for advanced study in selected areas. In addition, students fulfill the requirements of their chosen area of concentration.
Techno-MBA
Initiated in March 1995, the Techno-MBA Program was the first of its kind in Korea. The program educates managers in both managerial principles and technological issues so that they can better deal with the future management environment. The program offers rigorous academic and applied courses along with extensive international exposure. Through cooperative arrangements with leading overseas management schools, the Techno-MBA Program is committed to educating future business leaders to successfully compete in the global market.
Social Entrepreneurship MBA
SE-MBA program is a premier MBA program for Innovative Social Entrepreneurs and Social Value Creation. SE-MBA program is going to open from 2013 spring semester. Topics of the course are Social Entrepreneurship, Public Economics, Ventures, Innovations, Internship and Field Study as well as traditional MBA subjects
IMBA(Junior Executive MBA)
The IMBA Program represents innovation, ingenuity, inspiration, integrity and internationalization. Its goal is to encourage students to think outside the box and develop an entrepreneurial mind-set From this, students will gain an understanding of the issues involved in creating innovative new products and services, eventually leading to creation of such items. Additionally, through the use of integrated leadership and management ethics, professionals will be able to achieve a competitive advantage, thereby leading to market dominance.
Executive MBA
KGSM created Excutive MBA Program in 2003 to satisfy the needs of Korean companies to develop their core managers into capable CEOs of the future. KAIST Excutive MBA Program employs various methods to prepare its students for current global business challenges.
Professional MBA
Professional MBA is for students who want to continue to work and, at the same time, upgrade their careers to become professionals by taking evening classes. Three years are usually required to complete Professional MBA; however, there is also an acceleration path for students to wish to complete the program in two and half years.
