505th KAIST Culture Festival Notice- 5.7 (Thursday)
Kairos Chamber Ensemble's "Vivaldi in Spring"
2009 May 7ÀÏ (Thu) 7PM / KAIST Auditorium
Kairos Chamber Ensemble, with its title orginated from a Greek word, Kairos, meaning 'the time counted by meaningful events,' launched their journey since 2003 when a group of outstanding classical musicians formed an ensemble to dedicate their talent to the noble cause of helping socially neglected people. While most of them perform as solists or active members of Seoul Baroque Ensemble, one of the most prestigious ensembles in Korea, they have performed in numerous stages for handicapped people and charity funding. Their musicality has won high praises abroad through their annual performance at Vladivostok, Russia from 2003 to 2005. This splendid ensemble has enriched the quality of life and brought prestige to the community through the presentation of high-quality performances of classical music. We are proud to introduce the astonishing line up of classical pieces tonight.
