Professor Bill Buxton is a forerunner of computer music and played a very important role in developing computer-based technologies used in music, movie, industrial design, graphic, animation. He is also one of top five Canadian designers selected by The TIMES. He has managed Buxton design, design and consulting company, in Toronto and now is a vice professor of Computer Science Department of Toronto University and senior researcher of Microsoft Inc.
