Auditor

Greetings

Thank you for visiting the homepage of KAIST Auditor's Office.

I am Kim, Hak-min, auditor of KAIST. I have started my research career at the Korea Institute of Machinery and Materials (KIMM) and recently served as the President of the Korea Institute of Materials Science (KIMS), a subsidiary of KIMM. Throughout my career, I have dedicated myself to formulating the nation's science and technology policies and implementing them for the development of the country.

KAIST which was established by the government under a special law in 1971 has achieved a remarkable growth for the past four decades. It is now striving to reach its goal of joining the ranks of the world's top 10 research universities.

KAIST Auditor's Office is responsible for carrying out internal audit functions including auditing on the university's overall operations. We at the Auditor's Office are committed to helping KAIST enhance the quality of education and research by focusing on building a fair and transparent culture in tandem with the university's efforts to transform itself into one of the world's leading universities for science and technology.

In particular, I will work hard to positively communicate with KAIST members, form a consensus on responsibilities of the Auditor's Office and assist faculty, staff and students extensively based on my abundance experiences in R&D and management.

We appreciate your continued interest in the Auditor's Office and wish you good health and every success in all your endeavors.

Thank you.

KAIST, 291 Daehak-ro, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon 34141, Republic of Korea / T. 042-350-2114 / F. 042-350-2210 (2220)
