Qualcomm Fellowship Award |
Award:
10 Million Korean Won each for 8 KAIST graduate students (4 teams, 2 students per team) based on the merits of team research proposals
(Small additional funding will be provided to supervising professor’s lab.)
Proposal:
Topics of Interests: Technologies and ideas relevant to wireless and multimedia
Research Period: from June 1st, 2011 to May 31st, 2012
Page limit: 2 pages with concise and detailed content
List supervising professor(s)
Evaluation Criteria:
- Innovative and creative research topic
- Impact to wireless and multimedia industry
- Feasibility and execution of proposed research
Eligibility: KAIST graduate students graduating after May 2012
Selection Process:
May 1, 2011: Submit 2-page proposal to QualcommFellowshipAward@neuron.kaist.ac.kr
May 10, 2011: Notification of 10 finalist teams
May 20, 2011: Finalists’ presentation to selection committee
May 21, 2011: Announcement of the winning Awardees
Commitment / Obligation:
Opportunity to present and participate in two workshops (Fall 2011 & Spring 2012)
Opportunity to discuss and collaborate with Qualcomm Korea R&D Center
