Sheila Jasanoff 미국 하버드대학교 존 F. 케네디 공공정책대학원 Pforzheimer 과학기술학 석좌교수는

과학기술에 관한 인문학·사회과학 학제간 연구인 과학기술학(Science & Technology Studies) 분야를 개척하는데

앞장 서 왔습니다. 

환경규제, 위험관리, 생명공학, 생명윤리 등의 이슈를 통해 민주주의 사회에서의 과학, 정치와 법의 상호관계를 연구해 왔으며,  

특히 공적 이성과 인식적 권위의 문화적 구성에 깊은 관심을 가지고 있습니다.

Technology in America (1995), Designs on Nature: Science and Democracy in Europe and the United States (2005),
