Violinist KoN, the leading actor in the K-Classic Korean Wave who sings and acts

 

Kon graduated Seoul Arts High School and then Instrumental Music majoring at College of Music Seoul National University and then Graduate School of Music Seoul National University. As this illustrates, Kon is first Korean gypsy violinist who took an authentic classic course and is a multi-artist who is active in various fields such as musical actors, composers and models. In 2010, he released his first album Nuevo Gypsy, and he began performing in Japan in 2011, China (2015), Hungary (2016) which is the dominant gypsy music country, South American and New York (2018).

He is a musical actor, who played in the one of Korea’s first actor-musician musicals “Moby Dick”, and Broadway musicals “FAME” In particular, he played the main character Paganini in the original musical “Paganini”, which celebrated the 15th anniversary of the opening of the Daejeon Arts Center, and starred in one cast for more than 50 performances. He also transformed himself into a drama actor by playing the role of Cho Han-seok, the concertmaster in the KBS drama “Tell Me Your Song”,which ended this fall.

He has attracted attention with activities that do not cover the genre, including starring and winning second place in the Hidden Singer 1: Ep12, and performing at Seoul Fashion Week Collaboration and modeling at 18SS New York Style Fashion Week as a model.
