Chairman Jung made significant contributions to the development of Korea’s construction industry and regional economy, and was a visionary leader who deeply recognized and actively supported the importance of nurturing science and technology talent. In particular, through his generous contribution to the KAIST Development Fund, he left a meaningful legacy in fostering future scientific talent and advancing research environments that will shape the nation’s future. KAIST honors Chairman Jung’s noble spirit of giving and dedication, and will continue to strive to ensure that his vision lives on through the advancement of science and technology in Korea.
